Every local church has a culture. It is the atmosphere
that surrounds the church. It is the feeling that one gets around the
members it is the spiritual aroma of the local assembly, the savor of
the place. Culture can be defined as the way we are. It refers to the
predispositions attitudes and ways that define a people group.
It is easy to assume that culture simply happens. we have come to realize
that culture must be built. it is to be built according to the will
of God. It wil require a deliberate molding of policies, processes and
operations within a local assembly to achieve the culture that God has
planned for it. The culture within a church will determine its effectiveness
in fulfilling its purpose.
The culture we desire to achieve in the capital assembly is to be built around seven pillars. They are the atmosphere that prevailed
in the early church (Acts 2:4 2-47) that enabled the move of God. They are as follows:
